Abstract: The impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on vocational job market dynamics is reshaping occupational roles, skills requirements, and employment opportunities. This study examines how AI technologies influence vocational job market trends, focusing on changes in job demand, skill sets, and workforce readiness expectations. Objectives include assessing the integration of AI technologies in vocational sectors, evaluating stakeholders' perceptions of AI's impact on job market dynamics, and identifying opportunities and challenges presented by AI adoption in vocational settings. A survey research design is chosen to gather data from 220 participants, including vocational educators, industry professionals, and AI experts, using purposive sampling to ensure representation across technical disciplines in Lagos State. Case studies will highlight industries leveraging AI in vocational roles, showcasing transformative effects on job functions and workforce capabilities. Findings indicate that AI adoption in vocational sectors accelerates automation, creates new job categories, and demands advanced technological skills from vocational graduates. Recommendations emphasize integrating AI literacy into vocational curricula, fostering AI skill development through experiential learning, and establishing partnerships with tech industries to align education with evolving AI-driven job markets.
